These are REFLECTIONS about has been lived and experienced. This is MY Knowledge that I acquired at school, Naval College, the Naval Academy, and other educational institutions with imposing names.

This is KNOWLEDGE acquired in the course of naval and public service. But the main thing is that is those parts of MY knowledge that I received from eminent Russian scientists, with whom I was able to COMMUNICATE personally, and from those with whom, unfortunately, I was not able to communicate directly, but with whose works I was able to become acquainted. Having, on the basis of these works, attained KNOWLEDGE which became MY OWN, I have BEEN ABLE to put it into practice.
